Baby G Productions

Telling our stories, our way.

Baby G Productions is a production company creating thought-provoking works across film, television, digital platforms, and beyond! We exist to showcase authentic, nuanced stories celebrating the lives of those from traditionally underrepresented communities.

We’re celebrating our many voices, our many experiences, and telling our stories, our way.

Building a community of heart-first creatives.

We’re setting out to create a community of culture changers– through partnerships with diverse creatives dedicated to bringing to life stories that spark important conversations and galvanize change. Because what you watch is more than just entertainment– it’s also validation and inspiration.

We believe media should be in service of cultivating compassion and creating a more inclusive and just world.

No gatekeeping (ever).

Baby G Productions is proud to be Asian American, woman-owned, and born in Chicago. Through our educational endeavors, we’re dedicated to making the arts more affordable and accessible for all.

We want to hear your stories!

Rachel Kang

founder

Rachel Kang, our founder, is the creative powerhouse behind Baby G Productions. An actor, writer, director, and producer–  her work, often grappling with themes of historical trauma and dislocation, serves to catalog and document portraits of structural racism as it impacts family structures as well as individuals as they go through their everyday lives.

Previously, Rachel has worked on the PEN America Literary Awards, as Creative Writing Instructor at the Summer High School Program at Columbia University, and as SAG-AFTRA Strike Captain– believing totally in an artist's power and responsibility to imagine, inspire, and defend.

She studied acting at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and the Atlantic Acting School and earned an MFA in Writing at Columbia University.
